Welcome to the Student Reps Website

The Student Representation System creates a University-wide system to ensure that students’ voices are heard and considered in University decision making. This will involve sharing best practice, encouraging improvement and development of student representation and ensuring that students want to be involved with representation.

The underlying principle is that any student from any background on any degree programme should be able to contribute to and enhance his or her experience at the University of Birmingham. This requires Schools/Departments, the central University and the Guild of Students to work together to ensure that there is a culture that is receptive to and acts upon feedback.

Student Reps are students’ voices within the University, elected by students to make students’ perspectives heard when important decisions are made.
