| If you are a lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans student
or you are questioning your sexuality you can contact the LGBT Association
by visiting our page on the Bugs website http://students.bugs.bham.ac.uk/lgbt
or visit our room which is on the second floor of the Guild above
the Deb Hall. In the room you will find a cool chill out area to
meet other students, a library of gay fiction and advice, health
and welfare leaflets.
Whether you’re out and proud and want to know about the gay
scene and socialising or questioning your sexuality and in need
of support and information the LGBT Association is here to support
all students. We actively campaign against homophobia in all areas
of life and promote the rights of LGB students on campus. Look out
for our stall at the Fresher’s Fair, visit our website or
e-mail lgbt@bugs.bham.ac.uk
to find out more!
BUGS is committed to equal opportunities and a culture of
inclusivity.
If you feel intimidated or in anyway prevented from using BUGS services
on the grounds of discrimination or feel that you are being discriminated
against on your course, in hall or any other area of the university
